The short disc harrows with independent discs OPTIMER L (Ø 510 mm discs) and OPTIMER XL (Ø 620 mm discs) are the ideal machines for stubble cultivation.

Correct stubble cultivation is an important prerequisite for reactivating soil life and ensuring the best yields from the following crop. For this purpose, KUHN offers you the short disc harrows from the OPTIMER series with a working width of 3 to 12.5 meters. They ensure intensive mixing of soil and plant residues, offer high working speeds and are easy to adjust. The OPTIMER L series has 510 mm discs with small or large teeth and is ideal for shallow stubble cultivation at working depths of up to 10 cm. The OPTIMER XL have a disc diameter of 620 mm and are suitable for intensive cutting of plant residues at working depths of up to 15 cm. Various equipment allows you to adapt your disc harrow to your specific needs: front and trailing equipment, multiple seeding devices and a wide range of rollers for reconsolidation.
