With the rakes with side storage, you can determine the size of the swath: place the forage on a swath or rake the forage together on the way back and forth. You can also create a swath of the optimal size by adjusting the swath cloth accordingly. In this way, the following harvesting machine (press or forage harvester) achieves optimal area performance. With these models, the forage can be placed on a single swath or on two individual swaths.
