Neyer Landtechnik takes comprehensive initiatives in the areas of energy management and climate protection.
PHOTOVOLTAICS
Assembly work began on the roof of Neyer Landtechnik in January 2023. A solar system was built there that extends from the Neyer Forum to the workshop. The photovoltaic system has a capacity of up to 214 kW peak. The own electricity produced should be fed into the company's internal electricity network. Thanks to the existing heat pump, heating becomes largely climate-neutral. Excess electricity is fed into the public electricity network.
ELECTRICAL COMPANY FLEET
The internal green power source also serves as a charging point for a total of five wallboxes for electric company vehicles. Neyer Landtechnik already has two company vehicles with fully electric drives. We are checking step by step which vehicles can be replaced by electric vehicles.
SMALL LIFTS ALSO MAKE CRAP
Even small initiatives make the difference. For example, the bathrooms in the company building were equipped with electric hand dryers, so that kilos of paper towel waste are avoided every month. Another driver of reducing waste is digitalization. For example, being economical in printing not only protects the environment but also pays off thanks to digital processes. Converting to more economical LED lamps in the Neyer Forum and building will continue to help save energy.
EMISSION-FREE ALTERNATIVES
In some areas of agriculture and construction, there are already powerful and CO2-neutral alternatives to traditional combustion engines. For applications where an alternative drive makes sense, Neyer Landtechnik positions itself with a portfolio of machines that is suitable for professional use. Neyer Landtechnik has been stocking machines such as the methane gas tractor from New Holland or the fully electric farm loader from MONA DIE MASCHINE in the Neyer Forum since last year.
